Driven by a commitment to human-centric sustainable development and a dedication to investing in the next generation, Openasia believes that cultivating passion and creativity among students since their university years will empower them to become exceptional individuals across all aspects. Beyond offering career and internship opportunities, Openasia is committed to fostering an environment where young talents can achieve holistic development, encompassing professional expertise, career, and lifestyle.
Throughout 2024, Openasia further reinforced this commitment by forging deep and diverse partnerships with top-tier universities both in Vietnam and internationally, including British University Vietnam (BUV), RMIT Vietnam, VinUniversity, the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam (DAV), the Centre Franco-Vietnamien de Formation à la Gestion (CFVG), and the National Economics University (NEU). These collaborations have been implemented in a wide range of activities, from strategic partnerships in student competitions and active participation in career fairs, to expert-led sessions as guest speakers on topics such as event management, digital transformation, and human resources management. Openasia also co-hosted numerous site visits to the corporate offices and the subsidiaries, providing students with valuable insights into business operations and practices within the luxury fashion, fine dining, and traditional arts sectors.
Entering the second year of a strategic partnership with British University Vietnam (BUV), Openasia maintained a strong presence alongside the university throughout 2024, delivering practical experiences and valuable professional insights to students across BUV's academic disciplines.
Capping off a dynamic year of collaboration with BUV, Openasia was proud to be recognized for significant contributions to young people and BUV students specifically at the “BUV Corporate Appreciation & Student Projects Showcase”.
As a strategic partner of RMIT University Vietnam for the past three years, Openasia has consistently focused on supporting and developing RMIT’s young talents. In addition to annual activities such as the RMIT Career Festival and office tours, Openasia also provided practical professional knowledge as a guest expert for the "Leading in the age of digital disruption" course within the MBA program. Notably, 2024 also marks the first year Openasia introduced the Talent Management program to over 200 Human Resource Management students in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City through a series of workshops in collaboration with RMIT Vietnam.
2024 also marked the beginning of a promising partnership between Openasia and VinUniversity. In this first year of collaboration, Openasia cooperated with VinUniversity to bring students a chance to explore Openasia's ecosystem and gain insights from experts in operations and communications within the luxury retail and services sector.
Within the strategic partnership between the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam (DAV) and Openasia, the Academy's Training Department collaborated with Ms. Do Thuy Trang – Group Talent Acquisition Lead of Openasia Group, and Ms. Pham Minh Hoa - Head of Recruitment Consulting at Adecco Vietnam, to successfully organized the "First Step to Start Your Career" workshop. The event provided over 100 students with practical tools and essential CV writing and interview skills, providing a solid foundation for their journey into the competitive labor market.
In 2024, CFVG further strengthened the role as a key facilitator connecting Openasia with promising young talents in Vietnam and abroad. Openasia Group, in partnership with Hanoia, welcomed international students from EM Lyon Business School, with a visit to the Hanoi office and the immersive cultural experience at the Hanoia cultural space at 38 Hang Dao.
In November 2024, the Faculty of Environment, Climate Change & Urban Studies, National Economics University (NEU), held the annual Scholarship Award and Student Scientific Research Kick-off Ceremony. At the ceremony, Prof. Dr. Dinh Duc Truong expressed his gratitude to Openasia Group, the main sponsor, for the continuous support to the faculty over the past 6 years.
Through partnerships with universities, Openasia has gone beyond offering diverse employment and internship opportunities, aspiring to inspire and cultivate a thriving community of young talents where students are empowered to share their passions, and knowledge, and nurture their aspirations for personal and professional ambitions.
The success of our collaborative programs in 2024 stands as a powerful demonstration of Openasia's core value – placing people at the heart of all sustainable development efforts. Openasia would like to express sincere gratitude to all valued partners for the unwavering trust and collaboration in inspiring positive values.
In the coming years, Openasia aims to continue spreading inspiration, creating more long-term value, and contributing to nurturing the next generation of talent in the new era, together with the companionship of educational partners and social organizations. Openasia will always accompany young people to unlock their potential and help them pursue their passions to become the best versions of themselves.
