ABOUT TAM SON APARTMENT
In 2025, Tam Son introduces Tam Son Apartment — the first luxury retail concept in Vietnam. Meticulously curated, the project is a concept space that brings together a selection of prestigious luxury brands distributed by Tam Son across Fashion, Watches & Jewelry, Lifestyle, and Beauty.
Designed to deliver a "Public Yet Private" experience, Tam Son Apartment offers refined shopping moments complemented by exclusive activities and events from renowned brands such as Hermès, Loewe, Bottega Veneta, Chaumet, Piaget, Bang & Olufsen, Hanoia, Diptyque, and many more. The project redefines the retail journey — where luxury feels both personal and effortless, allowing customers to interact with each piece in a way that feels intuitive, elegant, and unmistakably Tam Son.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Business Development & Management
- Develop the strategy for Tam Son Apartment based on market trends, company objectives, and retail goals, and ensure the team fully understands and executes this strategy.
- Collaborate closely with the team to achieve sales targets, enhance client experience, and ensure sustainable business growth.
- Work hand-in-hand with the VM & Stylist to implement the VM calendar, coordinate product launch dates, and execute VM plans for events.
- Oversee product presentation to maintain brand identity, store layout consistency, and an engaging client experience.
- Formulate a strategic approach to product selection based on the activity calendar, demand, inventory, and sales objectives.
- Partner with the Retail Department to set sales targets and budgets, including travel expenses if necessary.
Client Development & Management
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of clienteling, client experience, and the client journey, guiding the team accordingly.
- Collaborate with the Senior Client Development Representative to supervise all client development activities of Private Client Advisors.
- Serve as a role model in delivering an exceptional client experience.
- Work with the Senior Client Development Representative to craft a client development strategy for key customer segments across all brands, in partnership with the CRM Department, and lead its execution with the team.
- Oversee all KPIs related to client development and client experience.
People Development & Management
- Embody Tam Son’s values and culture, displaying the highest level of integrity, ethical behavior, and a luxury brand image, including excellent grooming and professional demeanor.
- Provide consistent, constructive feedback to team members.
- Facilitate open communication regarding brand updates, products, and activities, encouraging staff to generously share stories and product insights with clients and peers.
- Ensure smooth coordination among various functions and teams.
- Observe individual performance and team dynamics through on-floor management.
- Identify training needs and organize appropriate training sessions as required.
- Conduct effective monthly one-on-one meetings and annual performance reviews to support employees’ professional growth and discuss their career ambitions.
- Share inspiring ideas during morning briefings and monthly meetings to foster active participation and motivation.
- Collaborate with HR and Retail Departments on staff budgeting.
Store Operations
- Fulfill assigned store duties as directed by the management board.
- Correctly operate ERP and POS systems for stock transfers, inquiries, invoicing and payments, and client data input.
- Manage till controls:
- Support opening procedures (till, key checks, etc.).
- Supervise till closing procedures with sales teams or cashiers after store closure.
- Ensure accurate cash controls, deposits (to the safe, to the bank), and related processes.
- Review and provide feedback on all till-related reports (discounts, forced prices, canceled sales) for management.
- Participate in stock takes and cycle counts; assist the stock team in resolving negative stock or discrepancies when needed.
- Prepare a duty roster for the team and manage overtime (OT) if applicable.
- Supervise all client appointments to guarantee a seamless experience.
- Oversee visual merchandising to align with VM guidelines.
- Maintain a safe, clean store environment and implement daily housekeeping duties.
- Ensure inventory accuracy by properly receiving, displaying, and storing merchandise, adhering to company guidelines.
Compliance & Standards
- Comply with all company policies, procedures, and standards, upholding the organization’s integrity.
- Address any compliance issues promptly and take corrective actions as necessary.
JOB REQUIREMENT
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Prefer candidates with relevant management experience in luxury retail or a high-end service environment.
- Experience in clienteling and sales, preferably in a luxury setting, is strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to run a service-focused business.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills with a keen sense of deadlines and attention to detail.
- High-level engagement, relationship-building, and communication skills.
- Ability and passion to form strong partnerships across the organization.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment, capable of effective prioritization, adaptable under pressure, and flexible with schedule changes.
- Proficiency in English; skilled user of Microsoft Office and PowerPoint.
