GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

In the context of a dynamic, fast-evolving business such as yachting industry, the HR & Admin Manager is both a strategic partner and a hands-on implementer. The person is responsible for shaping the people agenda in alignment with the company’s business goals while ensuring day-to-day HR and administrative functions are executed with agility and care. This role requires depth of involvement across the full employee lifecycle, with a focus on continuous improvement, adaptability, and meaningful impact in a startup-like environment.

 

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

 

1. HR Business Partnering & Strategy

  • Develop and execute the annual HR action plan aligned with evolving business priorities and projects.

  • Actively participate in business discussions to provide HR perspectives on organizational planning, workforce structure, and team efficiency.

  • Build trusted relationships with department heads to provide sound advice on people matters.

2. Talent Acquisition & Lifecycle Management

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment with a focus on talent fit and business readiness.

  • Lead onboarding, probation, and offboarding processes to ensure consistency and employee experience.

3. Performance & Talent Management

  • Coordinate the development of KPIs and performance tracking aligned with the company’s Balanced Scorecard.

  • Identify and develop high-potential employees through internal growth opportunities.

  • Support managers in building performance feedback habits and improving team accountability.

4. Learning & Employee Development

  • Collaborate with functional leads to assess skills gaps and define pragmatic learning initiatives.

  • Roll out targeted development programs that support business capabilities and employee growth.

5. Compensation, Benefits & Compliance

  • Develop and adapt compensation frameworks and C&B policies that reflect business evolution, employee insights, and legal compliance.

  • Supervise the execution of payroll

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of labor regulations and ensure company practices adhere to them.

6. Culture & Engagement

  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and transparent workplace culture through engagement programs, team-building activities, and internal communication.

  • Act as a connector between management and employees, addressing feedback, resolving concerns, and supporting healthy work relationships.

7. Administration & Workplace Operations

  • Oversee administrative functions including workplace licenses, office services, and asset and operations liability insurances.

  • Coordinate with suppliers for procurement and manage cost-effective administrative operations.

  • Ensure a safe, productive, and positive working environment that supports employee effectiveness.

  • Prepare regular HR reports for internal management review

  • Consolidate and submit required reports to Group HR as per corporate requirements

  • Coordinate and compile statutory labor-related reports for submission to local authorities

JOB REQUIREMENT

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in HR business partnering 

  • Business acumen, ability to dive deep and execute hands-on

  • Agile, solution-oriented, and comfortable with evolving priorities

  • Empathetic communicator with strong interpersonal skills

  • Committed to building a people-first culture in a growing business context

  • Be result-oriented and able to handle multi-tasks with positive attitude

  • Strong sense of organization

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Knowledge of labour law and HR best practices
