JOB DESCRIPTION

1.Contract review & management

  • Draft, review, appraise agreements, contracts and other legal documents across the business to ensure that the rights and interests of the business are protected.

  • Provide advice on contract requirements, legal risks and liabilities, with research to evaluate risk factors impacting business decisions and operations, and apply effective risk management techniques, offer proactive advice on risk factors.

  • Build templates for legal documents such as lease contract, service contract, legal memorandum, memorandum of understanding, principle contract, …

  • Participate in contract negotiation and signing as per request; communicate and negotiate with external parties such as partners, contractors, landlords, … when needed.

2. Corporate law 

  • Providing legal assistance during all stages of the companies’ lifecycles of the Group (creation, registration of corporate changes, etc.) with assistance of outsourced services when needed;

  • Research and update new laws and regulations relating to businesses and investments by preparing a monthly legal newsletter and communicate it throughout the company.

  • Ensure that the business is complying with relevant legal requirements by providing clarification to business functions on legal compliance requirements.

3. Providing training on selected legal topics, including compliance training for employees and managers of business units.

4. Other tasks as required by line manager from time to time.


JOB REQUIREMENT

1. Knowledge

  • Bachelor degree in Law

  • Law practicing license (highly preferred)

  • Strong knowledge and understanding of Vietnamese laws, especially Commercial Law, Enterprise Law, Real Estate Law, Land Law, and Investment Law .

  • Fluent in English. IELTS: 7.0

2. Relevant Experience

  • Experience working in a similar position for a minimum of  5 years, highly preferred working experience at reputable law firms or international corporates

3. Skills
