JOB DESCRIPTION
The Senior Event Executive is responsible for overseeing and executing all aspects of event planning and management. This role involves client interaction, event ideation, logistics coordination, and on-site execution. The ideal candidate is a creative and strategic thinker with strong project management skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, managing briefings and maintaining communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop and present innovative event concepts, proposals, and MC scripts to clients.
- Coordinate all event logistics, including venue setup, partnerships, supplier management, personnel, and artists.
- Handle government relations for event permits, security arrangements, and compliance with local regulations.
- Plan events, estimate costs, and prepare detailed budget reports.
- Source and negotiate contracts with vendors for equipment, catering, décor, and other event essentials.
- Work under the direction of the event manager to ensure flawless execution.
- Supervise and implement event plans on-site, ensuring smooth operations.
- Provide regular updates and final reports on event performance to management.
JOB REQUIREMENT
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in event planning and execution.
- Familiarity with design software is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint.
- Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to discuss projects in English.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with the ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Self-driven, proactive, and highly responsible.
