JOB DESCRIPTION
POSITION PURPOSE
• Lead sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets through successful management
• Build and implement strategic business plans that expand company's customer base and ensure strong market presence
• Develop efficient and standardized sales processes
• Build sustainable relationships with customers and strategic partners
• Advise on sales policies and business strategies for senior management
SCOPE OF WORK / RESPONSIBLITIES
1. Sales Team Management and Target Achievement (30%)
• Lead, manage, and develop sales representatives team
• Set individual targets for each member and monitor performance
• Coach, train, and enhance sales skills of staff members
• Evaluate work performance and build individual development plans
• Ensure team achieves and exceeds assigned sales targets
2. Business Strategy Development and Implementation (25%)
• Design and implement strategic business plans to expand customer base
• Ensure company's strong presence in the market
• Develop and improve sales processes suitable for each market segment
• Identify emerging markets and market shifts
• Monitor competitor activities and new product developments
3. Strategic Customer Relationship Management (20%)
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with major customers
• Understand deeply customer and partner needs to provide suitable solutions
• Negotiate large and important contracts
• Resolve complex issues for VIP customers
• Participate in industry events and exhibitions to expand network
4. Business Reporting and Analysis (15%)
• Prepare periodic sales, revenue, and expense reports for senior management
• Provide realistic revenue forecasts and business scenarios
• Analyze sales effectiveness and propose improvements
• Monitor important KPIs and metrics of the department
• Prepare strategic reports for BOD
5. Policy and Strategy Advisory (10%)
• Contribute to company sales policy development
• Advise senior management on business strategies
• Propose process and policy improvements to increase efficiency
• Participate in long-term business planning
• Support strategic decision-making on market and products
JOB REQUIREMENT
• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Business Administration or related fields
• Proficient English (4 skills), able to work with international clients
• Deep understanding of furniture, handmade, furniture industry or similar products
• MBA or advanced management certifications
• Sales management and leadership certifications
• Knowledge of marketing, branding, and market development
• Minimum 5-7 years of successful experience as sales representative
• Minimum 3-5 years of international sales manager experience, especially in B2B, OEM
• Outstanding track record in achieving and exceeding sales targets
• Experience in team management and staff development
• Experience in furniture, millworks, or handmade objects industry
• Experience managing large sales teams (10+ people)
• Experience working with international markets and exports
• Existing network of customers and partners
• Excellent leadership, management, and staff development skills
• Ability to communicate, present, and influence effectively at all organizational levels
• Professional mentoring, coaching, and people management skills
• Ability to drive entire sales process from planning to deal closure
