JOB DESCRIPTION
- End-to-End Quality Management: Managing and controlling the entire quality lifecycle, from incoming materials and supplier quality to in-process production and final outgoing products.
- System Implementation & Management: Supporting the development and implementation of the quality management system (standards, procedures), and training employees to ensure compliance.
- Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement: Collaborating with other departments to analyze data, find root causes of quality issues, and implement corrective and preventive actions to reduce waste and improve products.
- Reporting & Monitoring: Monitoring performance and creating statistical reports on quality metrics.
POSITION PURPOSE
1 – Manage quality management activities in White Wood and Finishing production
2 – Support QA department set up quality standards, specifications, appropriate quality control policies, procedures, instructions and methods to apply in the company.
3 – Train and supervise the implementation of Quality Control System in the plant to ensure that the products provide is fit for purpose, meets both external and internal requirements. This includes legal compliance and customer expectations and at the same time to improve the company's efficiency and profitability by reducing waste ...
4 – Coordinate to related departments (R&D, production, Supply Chain, Packing ...) in improving product on quality and reducing unqualified products.
5 – Support QA and Supply Chain dept to establish quality requirements for external suppliers;
6 – Control in-coming material quality and out-going product quality.
7 – Monitor performance by gathering relevant data and producing statistical reports;
8 – Prepare reports, analyze data cooperate with relevant departments to find the cause and priority solution or give direction to promptly resolve corrective and preventive action
9– Coordinate with compliance team for periodic assessment and improvement
10 – Other assignments as may be directed from time to time by line manager and General Director.
SCOPE OF WORK / RESPONSIBLITIES
1 – Determine the human resource and teams in the Quality Control department.
2 – Require the relevant departments to comply with issued quality standards.
3 – Require the production Team Leaders / Supervisors pause to overcome if detect mass defects happen
4 – Reject and return poor incoming materials. Request suppliers to have corrective actions.
5 – Urge employees to perform their assigned work well.
6 – Have authority to control, appoint employees for subcon inspection or request overtime.
7 – Advise the Manager of the control solution was effective quality products made.
JOB REQUIREMENT
- Qualification: Bachelor or College
- Major in Engineering or an Industrial related field
- English: Communication skill
- Technical Drawing Skill
- QC/QA experience >3 years in Wood manufacturing
- Manage team >3 person in industrial field
