JOB DESCRIPTION

POSITION PURPOSE
•    Ensure millworks products meet technical standards and customer requirements
•    Implement comprehensive quality control from raw materials to finished products
•    Coordinate with stakeholders to maintain and enhance project quality standards
•    Supervise quality inspection processes at factories, suppliers, and construction sites

SCOPE OF WORK / RESPONSIBLITIES
1. Millworks Product Quality Control (40%)
•    Conduct quality inspections of interior and exterior doors, including imported products
•    Inspect structure, materials, finishing, connections according to technical standards
•    Evaluate quality of various materials: solid wood, industrial wood, veneer, metal with different finishing types, leather, marble, glass, and combination materials
2. Execute Quality Inspection Types (30%)
•    Perform inline quality checks during production process
•    Conduct final quality checks at factory level
•    Execute onsite quality inspections at construction sites
•    Perform final project quality acceptance checks
3. Coordination and Quality Supervision (20%)
•    Work with factories and suppliers to ensure quality standards compliance
•    Coordinate with relevant departments in establishing project quality standards
•    Monitor and assess quality at production facilities and construction sites
4. Reporting and Process Improvement (10%)
•    Prepare periodic quality inspection reports
•    Propose quality control process improvement measures
•    Develop and update quality inspection standards for millworks


JOB REQUIREMENT

Knowledge (educational background, degree, certificate)

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Wood Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields
  • Understanding of construction materials, especially wood, metal, stone, and glass
  • Quality management certifications (ISO 9001, Six Sigma)    
  • Training courses in millworks and high-end interior products    

Relevant experience

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in quality control field
  • Experience working with wood products, furniture, millworks
  • Experience working at manufacturing facilities or high-end interior construction companies     
  • Experience in project management and coordination with international suppliers    

Skills

  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Proficiency in office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Good English communication skills (reading, writing, speaking)
  • Leadership and team management skills     
  • Ability to use specialized software (AutoCAD, quality inspection software)     
  • Presentation and reporting skills
