ABOUT US

Founded in 1997 in Binh Duong, near Saigon, Thien Hong is a lacquer story written by a French designer who loves Vietnamese culture – Mrs. Rose Morant and a group of craftsmen living in an ancient lacquer village dating back to the 18th century, Tuong Binh Hiep village. They helped revive the traditional lacquer craft inherited from their ancestors and brought the Vietnamese craftsmanship of excellence to the world of luxury fashion brands.

In 2011, Openasia group continued Mrs. Rose Morant’s passion for the Vietnamese lacquer and developed Thien Hong into a new level. Besides crafting high-end fashion accessories, home objects and high-end furniture, Thien Hong has constantly promoted their lacquer know-how on new product lines. So far, Thien Hong has two lacquer workshops in the North and the South, with 350 skillful craftsmen working hard to complete the Vietnamese lacquer dream.
