POSITION OVERVIEW

The role oversees enterprise IT operations, infrastructure, applications, data platform, cybersecurity, and AI governance, ensuring reliable daily operations while building a scalable technology foundation that supports business growth, digital transformation, and future innovation. The position acts as the execution engine of the organization’s technology capability, focusing on service delivery, system performance, and operational excellence across all business units.


JOB DESCRIPTION

1. IT Operations & Service Excellence - Ensure stable, secure, and efficient day-to-day IT operations across all business functions.

  • Ensure reliable operation of all business-critical systems, infrastructure, networks, and end-user services across offices, warehouses, and retail network.
  •  Manage IT operating budgets, technology vendors, and operational project delivery to maximize value and efficiency.
  •  Structure and develop the IT team’s capabilities to continuously improve IT service quality.

2. Enterprise Application, Data & Architecture- Maintain and continuously improve Tam Sơn's enterprise technology stack and data foundation to support analytics, automation, and AI.

  • Maintain the enterprise technology architecture and technology stack (including cloud infrastructure, integration architecture, enterprise applications, databases, and middleware) to ensuring seamless integration across business applications and platforms.
  • Manage the enterprise application landscape (ERP, POS, CRM, Ecommerce, Finance, HR, collaboration platforms), ensuring high availability and continuous improvement.
  • Enterprise data governance: Own and securea reliable data platform that supports reporting, analytics, and AI initiatives.
  • Execute the technical workstream (data migration, mapping, cleansing, validation, infrastructure readiness, and cutover) for major enterprise transformation projects (e.g., ERP, CRM, POS, Data Platform) led by the Digital Transformation Director, ensuring successful system adoption and business continuity.

3. AI Governance, Cybersecurity & Technology Risk 

  • Maintain the governance, security, and controls required for Tam Sơn to adopt AI responsibly while protecting enterprise systems, customer data, and business operations.
  •  Implement enterprise AI governance frameworks, policies, and standards to ensure responsible and secure adoption of AI technologies.
  • Evaluate technical feasibility and enable high-impact AI use cases identified by the business and the Digital Transformation Director, ensuring secure and scalable implementation.
  •  Run the enterprise cybersecurity program, ensuring robust protection across identity, endpoints, networks, cloud infrastructure, and data, while managing vulnerability remediation and incident response.

JOB REQUIREMENT

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.

• Master's degree or MBA is an advantage

Strong understanding of:

• Enterprise Architecture

• Cloud Platforms (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud)

• Enterprise Applications (ERP, CRM, POS, HRMS, WMS, Finance Systems)

• Data Platforms, Data Warehousing, and Integration Architecture

• API and Middleware Technologies

• Cybersecurity Frameworks and Identity & Access Management

• AI Governance and Emerging AI Technologies

• IT Service Management (ITIL) and Project Management methodologies

• Minimum 8-12 years of progressive experience in Information Technology, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

• Proven experience developing and executing enterprise IT strategies and managing large-scale technology operations.

• Experience overseeing enterprise technology platforms, cloud infrastructure, and systems integration.

• Hands-on experience establishing data platforms, enterprise architecture, or modern technology stacks.

• Experience leading cybersecurity governance and technology risk management initiatives.

• Exposure to AI implementation, governance, or digital innovation programs is highly desirable.

• Experience in retail, luxury retail, consumer goods, or multi-site operations is preferred.
